Mahlaqa Bai Chanda(ماہ لقا بائی چندا)

Mah Laqa Bai: (7 April 1768 – 1824), conceived Chanda Bibi, and once in a while alluded to as Mah Laqa Chanda, was an Indian eighteenth century Urdu writer,

ماہ لقا بائی چندا:                                                                                    ماہ لقا بائی چندا ۱۷ اپریل ۱۷۲۸ء کو اور نگ آباد میں پیدا ہوئی ۔ نام چندا بی بی اور لقب ماہ نقا تھا ۔ چندا تخلص کرتی تھیں۔اٹھارہویں صدی کی ہندوستان کی پہلی صاحب دیوان شاعرہ ہیں ۔ خوبصورتی میں اپنی مثال آپ تھیں۔ موسیقی اور شعر وشاعری میں دستگاہ رکھتی ہیں۔شاعری میں ماہ لقا کے اُستاد کون تھے ۔ اس کے بارے میں دورائے ہیں ، تذکرہ نگار شیر محمد خان ایمان نے ماہ لقابائی کواپنا شاگرد بتا یا ہے۔جبکہ شیر عالم بہادر ان کو اپنا شاگرد بناتے ہیں۔چندا کاشاعری کا دیوان ۱۲۱۳ھ بمطابق ۱۷۹۸ء میں مرتب ہوا۔شفقت رضوی نے اس دیوان کو مرتب کیا ۔ مجلسِ ترقی ادب نے اس دیوان کو ۱۹۹۰ء میں شائع کیا۔ماہ لقا پہلی صاحب دیوان شاعرہ ہونے کے ساتھ ساتھ پہلی خاتون شاعرہ ہیں۔جن کے ہاں نسائنت کا اظہار ملتا ہے۔ان سے پہلے کی شاعرات نے اظہار کے لیے مردانہ لب ولہجہ اختیار کیا ۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ آج اُن کا کلا م نہیں ملتا۔
